Our library houses a collection of over 7,000 books and operates from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Students are welcome to visit individually during break and lunchtime to read or check out books. Teachers can also bring their classes for library activities.
Additionally, Primary Years students participate in weekly library classes taught by the librarian. During library classes, they engage in activities designed to foster a love for reading and lifelong learning. The librarian also supports IB MYP Year 5 students for their personal project research.
A registered nurse is employed by the school to provide limited services to students in need of medical attention. The nurse is on duty from 8 AM to 16:30 PM on school days.
Basic health checks and eye exams will be conducted by the nurse for Primary Years as well as BMI screening for all grade levels.
A paid school bus service is available for distances up to 50 km, with pricing based on the travel distance.
To enroll in the service, please complete the registration form.
The goal of Chapel at WIS is to create an atmosphere of genuine worship. It is a time where students come to learn and discuss with their peers not only profound spiritual questions but also the implications that come along with them.
Chapel teachings lay a basic foundation of the character of God, the nature of man, and the need for Jesus. It is our hope that as the students grow in their understanding of God, that they will grow to love God and His creations.
The purpose of Bible Studies class is for students to understand the bigger gospel narrative that runs throughout the Bible. Our classes are embarking on a journey to discover who Jesus is and why that matters to us. During each class, we read and discuss stories from the Bible. We also spend time wrestling with apologetic group questions.
It is our goal that through the Bible Studies class, students would see their needs for Jesus in their lives and grow in character qualities that reflect the mission statement of Wesley International School.
Bible Studies class takes place once a week from Kindergarten.
