WIS Child Safeguarding Statement

WIS is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment in which our students can grow and develop to their full potential regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion, belief, sex, or sexual orientation.

The WIS Child Safeguarding Manual was written in line with both Thai and international legislation and policy which protects children worldwide. The WIS Child Safeguarding Manual is reviewed annually so that it can effectively govern the measures taken by WIS to create a safe and nurturing environment for all children associated with WIS.

The safe recruiting techniques which WIS incorporates are the first step in ensuring that all WIS employees and volunteers are suitable to work with children. In addition, all staff and volunteers at WIS are required to undergo an annual criminal background check as well as annual WIS Child Safeguarding training.
